Save Sparrows Donate Coir Nest for Sparrows
Sparrows are the hard-hit victims of our urbanization, deforestation and scarcity of trees in cities.
“Save Birds, Save Sparrows” is an initiative by WWCO to help increase the sparrow population by restoring their natural habitat and food sources. As part of this effort, WWCO is planting native and fruit-bearing trees to promote sparrow breeding and ensure food availability.
Sparrows are not only an integral part of our environment but also play a vital role in maintaining our ecosystem. However, in recent years, their population has been declining significantly. The primary reasons for this decline include habitat loss, the disappearance of native plants, excessive urbanization with widespread concrete use, modern food storage practices, and increasing noise pollution, among other factors.
